Nordlys has raised $48M in Series A funding. The round pays for N-02, our second hall, in Kiruna in northern Sweden, and for the first B300 pods in Hall A in Narvik.
Why Kiruna
Kiruna sits at 67.9° N, three hours by road from Narvik and on the same Nordic hydro grid. The annual mean temperature is below zero, so N-02 can use the same free-air design as Hall A: no chillers, no cooling towers and no water drawn for cooling.
A second site also gives customers a failover region inside the EEA without leaving the Arctic. Construction starts this winter next to an existing substation, and the first 4,096 GPUs are planned for Q3 2027.
What changes in Narvik
Part of the round goes to Hall A. From Q1 2027 we add direct-to-chip liquid loops for B300 pods, rejected to outside air through dry coolers. Existing H200 customers keep their racks and their rates for the full term.
We are also hiring. Twelve roles are open across Narvik, Tromsø and Kiruna, each with a published salary range, and the team will grow from 84 to about 120 people over the next eighteen months.
